Serving North Texas

Eleven counties, from one office in Irving.

The office is on Jetstar Drive in Irving, a few minutes from DFW Airport, which puts most of Dallas County inside half an hour and most of Tarrant County inside forty minutes. Crews work out across eleven counties: Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, Denton, Parker, Rockwall, Johnson, Wise, Ellis, Kaufman and Hood.

What changes across that spread is mostly the housing stock and what the storms do to it. The corridor along 635 and 121 through Irving, Coppell and Grapevine went up largely in the eighties and nineties, so a great many of those roofs are on their second or third composition layer and the flashing details are the age that starts to matter. Further out toward Wise and Parker counties there is more metal, more outbuildings and longer drives between jobs. The commercial and multifamily work follows the corridors rather than the neighborhoods: the warehouse belt around the airport, the apartment communities going up along the tollways, and the older brick buildings closer in to both downtowns.

North Texas takes more damaging hail than almost anywhere in the country, and a single storm cell can flatten claims across one set of ZIP codes and leave the next one untouched. That is why the answer to whether your roof was hit is an inspection rather than a rule of thumb.
